Distinctive Thumbprints in Regional Ministry, EAM's book of six case studies of
cluster or regional ministries, written by Partica Ellertson, has been well
received. The book offers models of cluster ministry in multi-culturally settings,
across diocesan lines and in both rural and urban areas. Additional resources
are also included. The primary learnings from each site are highlighted, as are
some of the guiding principles in regional ministry.

The new companion study guide is designed to be a tool
for both those congregations exploring the process of
cluster formation and for those churches already doing
regional ministry, to help them examine their transition
from the old model of one priest/one congregation to a
new model of shared ministry.

Distinctive Thumbprints in Regional Ministry is available for $10.00 (including
shipping and handling.) The Study Guide sells for $3.00. Orders for the two
mailed together will be filled for $12.00.

Shelter, a new video/film by Anne Lewis, tells the story of five rural West Virginia women as they try to find freedom, justice and safety for themselves and the children. The documentary challenges institutional response and national ambivalence towards domestic violence and offers a model for a positive and healing approach. One of the shelters featured in the video is the Family Refuge Center in Lewisburg, W.Wa., one of the projects that has received funding from Episcopal Relief and Development through the CORA/ADPC process.
