What to Bring to a Workcamp
Bring enough clothes for the entire week. Expect a week of dirt, sweat, paint and tar.
Work clothes: Shirts and long pants are the safest wear at the work site. We recommend wearing hard-soled shoes at the work site and tennis shoes when working on a roof.
Leisure clothes: Pack comfortable, discrete clothing for leisure wear. Please leave any t-shirts or hats expressing obscenities at home.

VEHICLES - We will need to have available at least 5 vehicles capable of transporting materials and people to work sites. Personal automobiles for moving people about are no problem, but anyone with a van or pickup truck is encouraged to bring it.
Please make sure your vehicle registration and insurance are in the vehicle and, since you are a long way from home, an extra set of car keys might come in handy.
Some suggestions for groups: Present the need for a vehicle to the congregation: borrow another church’s van: rent a van: ask a car dealership to donate the use of a rental vehicle; borrow a van from another organization such as a senior citizen’s group.
